Why wear airbag pants?

In motorcycle accidents, nearly 70% of serious injuries affect the legs. However, this part of the body remains largely unprotected by traditional equipment.

What is the difference between airbag pants and an airbag vest?

The difference is simple and fundamental:

The airbag vest protects the upper body (spine, chest, vital organs).

How do airbag pants work?

Airbag pants work on the same principle as an airbag vest.
The current CX Air Dynamics model is based on wired mechanical technology: the rider is connected to the motorcycle by a safety strap. In the event of a fall, loss of control, or sudden separation from the motorcycle, the strap is triggered and the airbag deploys instantly, in less than a tenth of a second.
At the same time, CX Air Dynamics is developing an electronic version incorporating sensors and artificial intelligence, capable of analyzing the situation and activating the airbag autonomously.

The risk is constant, even over short distances. Wearing airbag pants should become an automatic reflex, just like wearing a jacket or seatbelt in a car.
